More School
After careful deliberation, some English majors decide to immediately pursue a postgraduate degree, be it in the professions, such as through law school, library science, or certification to teach K-12, or graduate school in the humanities or writing. Some particularly accomplished students decide to pursue national fellowships, such as the Rhodes or the Fulbright. Applications for all of these options tend to be due early fall through early spring, though your process should begin much earlier.
